Emily independently researches and writes content for the continuous improvement community, covering topics like Statistical Process Control (SPC), employee engagement, and Hoshin Kanri. She has gained firsthand experience with process improvement through MoreSteam's interactive training simulations, including SigmaBrew, InBox, and Gridlock. She has also helped organize MoreSteam's Best Practices for Operational Excellence (BP4OpX) conference for three consecutive years, connecting with practitioners and industry leaders who are putting continuous improvement into practice.

Before joining MoreSteam, Emily was Lead Creative at a strategic marketing and advertising agency, where she led creative projects, developed digital experiences, and translated complex client needs into clear, engaging communications. She has also served as Creative Director for an independent board game company, helping to adapt complex rules into accessible documentation and design for players. Today, she brings that combination of creative problem-solving and user-centered design to MoreSteam's content, branding, and digital experiences..
Emily graduated with honors from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where she studied Graphic Design.
